Campaigns Overview

Understanding campaigns — the central configuration unit in LeadSail.

Campaigns

Campaigns are the core building block of LeadSail. A campaign defines how leads are routed, qualified, and delivered to a specific client and offer.

What is a Campaign?

A campaign ties together:

  • Client & Offer — Who receives the leads and what they're for
  • Routing Rules — Conditions that determine which leads match this campaign
  • Qualification Rules — Disqualification conditionals and AI-powered field validation
  • Delivery Endpoints — Where and how qualified leads are sent
  • Delivery Settings — Caps, schedules, and throttling
  • First Submission Actions — Voice AI, SMS AI, human review, or webhook steps when leads are first submitted
  • Revenue Milestones — Per-status payouts for tracking revenue

Campaign Lifecycle

  1. A lead is submitted to LeadSail
  2. Routing rules are evaluated to find matching campaigns
  3. Leads are qualified against each campaign's rules
  4. Pre-delivery actions (if configured) are executed
  5. Qualified leads are delivered to the campaign's endpoints
  6. If delivery fails or the lead is rejected, fallback campaigns are tried
